Botanical name(s): The traditional timber type, Victorian Ash, refers to timber derived from two
species:
• Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans); and • Alpine Ash (Eucalyptus delegatensis).

density hardwood ranging in colour from pale pink
to straw tones.

For good-quality boards it is usual practice to quarter cut the logs.
